Our exhaust air controls reliably “lock” your extractor hood , for example, until the associated window contact reports that you have opened the window.
This is required by Section 4 of the FeuVO (Fireplace Ordinance) as soon as you operate a combustion facility (i.e. a stove) in close proximity.
Therefore, your chimney sweep will also inform you if you need an exhaust air control system .
Conversely, climate controls , which are also suitable for heat pumps , switch off the connected device as soon as you open a window.
This helps you save energy – so you don’t waste your money heating your home.

Open the transmitter cover by inserting the included screwdriver into the small groove on the short side of the housing and gently prying the cover up. You can change the battery without removing the transmitter from the window.
Use the included screwdriver to pry the used button cell out of its holder. From above, insert the flathead screwdriver between the contact and the button cell and move the handle outward. The button cell will pop out of its holder.
Slide the fresh CR 2032 / 3V button cell battery under the brass-colored battery hooks and then press the button cell down. Pay attention to the polarity: the + side of the button cell must be facing up and legible.
Place the housing cover onto the base housing until it clicks into place. The cover has a groove on one side, and the base housing has a slot. Therefore, the cover and base only fit together one way.
First, the cover must be removed from the transmitter to the FDS 100 or FDS 200. To do this, gently press the cover together on the right and left sides at the level of the LED and pull it upwards:
To remove the old battery from the device, place the transmitter in front of you so that the antenna (black cable) is on the bottom right. Using the included screwdriver, insert it vertically into the space between the battery and the battery holder and carefully pry the battery upward.
The new battery is simply pushed into the battery holder from above.
You have already changed the battery, the small LED on the window contact transmitter also lights up green - but the extractor hood still doesn't work and the receiver in the extractor hood is rattling?
In this case, it often helps to turn the exhaust hood's fuse off and on again. This hard reset often works wonders (similar to a PC).
When changing the battery, make sure to insert the CR2032 button cell with the lettering facing up.
If the battery is inserted correctly and the extractor hood still does not work, please try the following steps:
Close the window - wait a moment - open the window again - wait a moment again - then close the window and open it again.
Now the transmitter (on the window) and receiver (on the extractor hood) should be calibrated again and work perfectly
Our extensive product range includes a wide range of high-quality exhaust air controls and climate controls for every need. Our extractor hood exhaust controls ensure optimal air quality in your kitchen by precisely regulating the operation of the extractor hood. These intelligent systems automatically detect when exhaust air is needed and adjust performance accordingly. This not only increases efficiency but also reduces energy consumption .
For holistic indoor climate management, we also offer innovative climate controls. These allow you to optimally regulate the temperature, humidity, and air quality in your home or office. Our climate control systems are easy to use and integrate seamlessly into existing home automation systems. Whether you're looking for a single exhaust air control system for your extractor hood or a complex climate control system for your entire building, you'll find what you're looking for in our range.
We place great emphasis on quality and reliability, which is why all our products undergo rigorous quality controls. Discover the variety of our solutions and find the perfect control system for your individual requirements.
With our advanced exhaust controls, you can take your range hood's functionality to a new level. A range hood exhaust control is more than just a simple on/off switch. It's the heart of an intelligent ventilation system that actively contributes to improving the air quality in your kitchen. Our exhaust controls are equipped with state-of-the-art sensor technology that detects cooking fumes, humidity, and even odors. Based on this data, the system automatically adjusts the ventilation performance, allowing you to concentrate fully on cooking.
A special highlight in our product range are exhaust air controls with DIBt approval. This certification from the German Institute for Building Technology guarantees the highest quality and safety standards. DIBt-approved exhaust air controls are particularly relevant for buildings with ventilation systems and fireplaces, as they ensure safe operation and prevent potential hazards caused by negative pressure. By integrating such a control system into your kitchen system, you not only increase the comfort but also the safety of your home.
Modernize your extractor hood now and experience the difference that intelligent exhaust air control can make.
An often overlooked but extremely useful component for the optimal functioning of your extractor hood is the window contact switch. Our Schabus window contact switch is specially designed for use with extractor hoods and offers numerous advantages. This clever device automatically detects whether a window is open, thus enabling efficient operation of your extractor hood.
The wired extractor hood window contact switch is easy to install and extremely reliable. It ensures that your extractor hood only operates at full power when a window is actually open, thus ensuring sufficient air circulation. This not only prevents unnecessary energy consumption but also protects against potential hazards caused by negative pressure. A contact switch for your extractor hood is essential for safety, especially when used in conjunction with a fireplace. It acts as a safety switch for your extractor hood and fireplace, preventing dangerous situations that could arise from simultaneous operation.
Our extractor hood window contact switch is therefore not only an efficiency booster, but also an important safety element in your kitchen.
Our innovative climate controls are the key to an optimal indoor climate in your home or workplace. These intelligent systems go far beyond the functionality of conventional thermostats. They measure not only temperature, but also humidity, CO2 levels, and other relevant parameters.
Based on this data, they precisely control heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to create ideal conditions at all times. Our climate controls can be individually adapted to your needs. For example, you can create schedules to automatically adjust the room climate to your daily routine. Some models even learn from your behavior and continuously optimize the settings. A special feature is the ability to control different zones in your home separately. This allows you to create the perfect climate in every room without wasting energy.
Integrated air quality sensors ensure automatic ventilation when needed, which is especially beneficial for allergy sufferers. With our climate controls, you're investing not only in comfort but also in your health and well-being.
Investing in a high-quality climate control system pays off in many ways. First of all, it offers you maximum comfort. You no longer have to worry about manually adjusting the heating or air conditioning – the system takes care of this task for you, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate at all times.
In addition, our climate controls contribute significantly to increasing energy efficiency. Precise control and intelligent adaptation to your needs optimize energy consumption, which has a positive impact on your operating costs. An often underestimated aspect is their contribution to building protection. By regulating humidity, climate controls prevent the growth of mold and other moisture-related damage. This not only maintains the value of your property but also contributes to a healthy living environment. Modern climate controls can also be easily integrated into smart home systems.
This allows you to conveniently control the indoor climate via smartphone or voice control, even when you're not at home. With a climate control system from us, you're investing in technology that noticeably improves your everyday life while conserving resources.
