The additional module BBB 300 extends existing exhaust air controls such as KDS 210 and FDS 200 with a potential-free normally open contact that can handle up to 5 amps.
This allows the control of modern extractor hoods with a control input without affecting the lighting function . Ideal for applications where only the fan motor is to be switched on. Switching behavior: Socket switched on = contact closed.
Versatile thanks to high-quality relay
The module features a particularly reliable Finder relay that can safely switch both extremely low currents from 5 mA and high power currents up to 5 A. This makes the BBB 300 universally suitable for a variety of applications—for example, for directly switching a fan motor or for controlling modern control contacts on downdraft extractors , such as those used in appliances from Miele KMDA , Bora Home-In , and other high-quality manufacturers.
Assembly and installation
The module features elongated holes for easy mounting and is supplied with a 1 m connection cable with a Euro plug and a 1 m output cable with wire end ferrules. The green LED indicates the active switching state. Installation between the control input or exhaust air motor and the adapter plug is straightforward. Connecting an adapter plug exhaust air control to a control contact can be done independently.
For switching power, especially the fan motor directly or via specialised inputs (e.g. Bora L3, Bosch or Neff L1), installation by a qualified electrician is required
