Housing of the window magnetic switch in color telegrey-4 available on request in all RAL colors for an additional charge. Include your chimney sweep in your planning before installation to ensure that nothing stands in the way of inspection afterward. There are significant regional differences, over which Elektrotechnik Schabus has no influence.

Automatic safety release for exhaust air systems – when the stove is cold or the window is open.

The FTW 519 wireless temperature monitor and window transmitter set is perfect for individual stoves where exhaust air control is required or recommended. The system ensures that your range hood, ventilation system, or exhaust fan motor is only activated under safe conditions —either when the stove is cold or when the window is open.

⚙️ How it works

The FTW 519 wireless temperature monitor measures the temperature in the flue pipe. If it rises above the preset limit of 40 °C , a precision microswitch interrupts the release signal, and the exhaust air system remains blocked. It is only released again when the temperature drops by approximately 15 °C.

Special feature: The window transmitter allows the system to be activated when a window is open , even if the oven is hot. If the window is closed, the exhaust air system is no longer activated, and the extractor hood will then not work.

🛡️ Intrinsically safe: If the sensor is mechanically damaged, the switching point is lowered - the transmitter does not give any release , even if the oven is cold.

🛠️ Easy installation

• The FTW 519 is mounted directly on the visible (uncovered) flue pipe (Ø at least 120 mm) using a flange. The minimum distance from the stove edge is 80 cm.

• Stove pipe must be freely visible in the room (e.g. Swedish stove)

• No cladding, no walling

• Do not mount over heat-dissipating components

• Maximum temperature at the transmitter: 65 °C

Would you like to be able to choose flexibly between two windows?
Then use a second window contact FDS 098. This is factory-programmed and enables an OR function – an open window is sufficient for release.
