Housing of the FTX transmitter and window magnetic switch in telegrey-4 color, available on request in all RAL colors for an additional charge. Include your chimney sweep in your planning before installation to ensure that nothing stands in the way of inspection afterward. There are significant regional differences, over which Elektrotechnik Schabus has no influence. The DIBt certification does not apply to the set, but refers to the included wireless exhaust air control.

🔍 How it works

The FTX sensor monitors the flue gas temperature in the flue pipe and detects whether the stove is in operation. If the defined temperature limit of 40°C is exceeded, the system blocks the exhaust air release – the chimney takes priority. If the temperature drops by approximately 15°C, the release signal is sent again.

The integrated window transmitter allows the exhaust air system to operate only when the window is open— unless the furnace is cold , in which case it is automatically enabled. This dual logic (temperature + window contact) significantly increases safety and ease of use.

The components are already programmed at the factory – unpack, assemble, done!

➕ Additional transmitter for second window

Would you like to be able to choose between two windows ? No problem:
With a second window contact transmitter FDS 098 (programmed to the same code at the factory), an OR function can be implemented – an open window is sufficient to release the exhaust air system.

🔁 Second recipient

Do you need two separately switchable outputs ?
An additional receiver (installation: FDS 199 , intermediate plug: FDS 299 ) can be added to the existing set.
As soon as the oven is cold or a window is opened , both receivers release their connected devices.

For this purpose, Elektrotechnik-Schabus needs the serial number to code the devices to each other.

👉 When ordering additional devices, please always state the serial number of your existing receiver .

Where is the FTX mounted? On the accessible smoke pipe (at least Ø 120mm) with temperature load <180°C. The transmitter must be installed outside the heat area (e.g. on the wall) (max. 50°C)

Can I install the devices or wall them in? No. All radio components must be accessible at all times be – for maintenance or in the event of a replacement.

What happens if the oven burns? The FTX detects the exhaust gas temperature and blocks release the exhaust air system – unless the window is open (window transmitter active).

Is the system maintenance-free? In normal operation, yes. Visual inspection and occasional cleaning of the smoke pipe (including FTX) are recommended.
