The DS 01 L Comfort Package includes all the accessories required for technical operation, including the DS 01 L control unit. In addition to the control unit and 5 meters of silicone hose, it includes the temperature measuring adapter, the pressure measuring adapter, and the pressure measuring tube, which is used to connect the hose to the pressure measuring adapter.
The differential pressure controller DS01 L is a safety device that enables the simultaneous operation of room air-dependent fireplaces for solid fuels with ventilation systems (not suitable for open fireplaces or open operation).
The negative pressure in the chimney connection piece compared to the surrounding room (=installation room or air connection) is continuously monitored during stove operation. This prevents negative pressure from developing in the installation room/air connection, thus preventing dangerous amounts of flue gas from escaping through the fireplace into the installation room. The integrated evaluation logic prevents overly sensitive responses to wind pressure fluctuations or during a cold start of the fireplace. A plausibility check is also performed. If the air pressure monitor shuts down the connected system, sufficient fresh air must be provided to restart operation.
The DIBt approval refers exclusively to controlled residential ventilation systems, but not to extractor hoods, although the DS01L also works with them.

The rosette is available to fit exhaust pipes with a diameter of 130 or 150 mm.
