The KDS 210 cable exhaust air control with DIBt approval ensures the safe operation of exhaust air systems by monitoring the window position and transmitting the information via the control cable to the built-in receiver. The magnetic switch on the window reliably detects whether the window is tilted or open. Only when the window is open can fresh air flow in, preventing dangerous negative pressure that could draw toxic carbon monoxide from combustion chambers into the room.
The adapter plug receiver is simply placed between the wall outlet and the extractor hood's power plug. As soon as the window is opened, it automatically releases the power supply to the fan. A power plug lock prevents accidental reconnection.
Operation with second window (OR operation):
You have the option of using a second window with an additional cable magnetic switch KMS 098K22 (item 300743). In this case, at least one window must be open for the exhaust air system to operate.

The KDS 210 includes a cable break protection device (10 kOhm resistor) integrated into the supplied cable magnetic switch. If the KDS 210 is not used with the original cable magnetic switch, but with an integrated switch contact on the window, the following must be observed: To maintain the cable break protection, you must connect the supplied 10 kOhm resistor in parallel with the normally open contact, as shown in the connection example.
