<p data-start="245" data-end="580">The <strong data-start="249" data-end="300">electric supply air damper with a diameter of 100 mm</strong> ensures an airtight connection in accordance with DIN 1946 Part 4 thanks to its high-quality <strong data-start="331" data-end="348">EPDM seal.</strong> It is <strong data-start="358" data-end="405">TÜV-tested</strong> and designed for a pressure of up to 1000 Pa – ideal for use in ventilation systems, exhaust air systems, or in combination with Schabus controls.</p>
<p data-start="582" data-end="1028">A powerful high-torque capacitor motor opens and closes the flap slowly (approx. 150 seconds) to reliably press the seal against the galvanized steel pipe. This extends the service life and increases the tightness. The control is via mains voltage via a 3-wire connection cable (3 × 0.75 mm²). When the end stop is reached, the motor switches off automatically – for safe, low-maintenance operation.</p>

<h4 data-start="1030" data-end="1084">Flexible control for individual applications</h4>
<p data-start="1086" data-end="1372">The supply air damper can be controlled, for example, via the <a href="https://www.elektrotechnik-schabus.de/abluft-klimasteuerung/kabel-zuluftsteuerung-kzs-200"><strong>Elektrotechnik Schabus supply air control KZS 200</strong></a>, a simple <strong data-start="1182" data-end="1199">light switch</strong>, or a <strong data-start="1210" data-end="1260">self-resetting push button directly on the motor.</strong> During manual operation, the transmission is automatically disengaged as long as the button is pressed.</p>
<p data-start="1374" data-end="1546">The installed <strong data-start="1387" data-end="1404">EPDM seal</strong> is <strong data-start="1409" data-end="1431">aging-resistant</strong> and resists <strong data-start="1444" data-end="1491">mildly aggressive vapors and chemicals</strong> – ideal for long-lasting, reliable ventilation solutions.</p>

💡 General information about the function

How does the electric supply air flap work? The flap is controlled via mains voltage and opens or closes using a capacitor motor. This presses the seal forcefully against the pipe when closing to create an airtight connection. The motor stops automatically at the end stop.

How long does it take to open or close the flap? The process takes around 150 seconds - slowly but powerfully in order to optimally press and protect the seal.

⚙️ Control and control options

How is the supply air flap controlled? Via mains voltage (3×0.75 mm²). Control can be achieved, for example, by the SCHABUS Zuluftsteuerung KZS 200, a light switch or a self-resetting push button.

Can I operate the flap manually? Yes, with a self-resetting push button directly on the motor. When the button is pressed, the gear is disengaged and the flap can be moved manually.

Is automatic control possible? Yes, ideally via the Schabus Zuluftsteuerung KZS 200, which automatically provides fresh air when an extractor hood or fan is in operation.

🛠️ Installation and assembly

Can the supply air flap be walled in? No. These supply air flaps are not for installation in masonry suitable. Instead, use suitable pieces of pipe with an end flange onto which the flap can be attached. Also make sure that electrical devices accessible and exchangeable at any time remain.

In which position can the flap be installed? Installation is possible horizontally or vertically as long as the motor does not point downwards and the flap can open freely.

How big is the connection diameter? The flap has a diameter of 100mm - suitable for standard ventilation pipes of the same size.

🔧 Operation and maintenance

Does the flap need to be serviced? No, the engine is maintenance-free. However, make sure the sealing surface is clean and occasionally visually check for contamination.

What happens if there is a power outage? The flap remains in its current position. It does not automatically return to a safety position.

🧪 Material and durability

What is the seal made of? Made of high-quality, age-resistant EPDM – resistant to mildly aggressive vapors and chemicals.

Is the supply air flap TÜV tested? Yes, it meets the requirements of DIN 1946 Part 4 and is TÜV-tested for a pressure of up to 1000Pa.
