DS 01 M Comfort package for mixed occupancy pellet primary stove + fireplace Suitable for the safety monitoring of mixed occupancy of a chimney with a wodtke pellet primary stove and a commercially available, closed combustion appliance for solid fuels (log wood, lignite briquettes) without a fan in accordance with EN 13240, EN 13229 or EN 12815. Prevents exhaust gases from one fireplace from flowing into the room via the fireplace that is not in use (smoke gases, carbon monoxide) for a maximum of two fireplaces, both located in one building (single-family house or maisonette apartment)

The DS01 M continuously monitors the differential pressure between the connection piece of a non-fan-assisted fireplace and the room in which it is installed. If the differential pressure drops below a specified threshold, the pellet stove shuts down automatically. This reliably prevents exhaust gases from entering the living space via the unused fireplace without a fan in the event of a chimney blockage. Pressure monitoring is only active while the pellet stove is in operation. The DS01 M is connected directly to the stove's control board via a cable and receives the start signal from there to activate the monitoring function.
