The set, consisting of the FTW 519 wireless temperature monitor and the FDS 100 wireless exhaust air control, reliably ensures that your exhaust air system is only activated under safe operating conditions . The integrated temperature monitoring system in the flue pipe detects whether the stove is hot or not.

The included window transmitter ensures that the exhaust air system is activated when the window is open (and the stove is active). Ideal for individual fireplaces such as Swedish stoves or wood-burning stoves.

⚙️ How it works

The temperature sensor in the flue pipe detects whether the stove's temperature exceeds the limit of 40°C. If this is the case, the exhaust air system is blocked. If the temperature drops by approximately 15°C, it is enabled again.
Mechanical damage to the sensor automatically lowers the switching point – this makes the system fail-safe .

Additionally: The window contact transmitter allows the exhaust air to be released when the oven is hot – but a window is opened.


🛠️ Easy installation

  • The FTW 519 is mounted directly on the visible (uncovered) flue pipe (Ø at least 120 mm) using a flange. The minimum distance from the stove edge is 80 cm.

  • Free air flow through the room is required

  • Not suitable for stove pipes behind cladding or heat-dissipating parts

  • Max. temperature on the FTW transmitter : 65 °C

🛑 Important : The sensor must not be bent or damaged during installation.

Would you like to be able to choose between two windows?
With a second window contact transmitter FDS 098 (same code, factory-programmed) an OR function can be implemented – an open window is sufficient.

🔁 Second recipient

Would you like to control another device?
Add a second receiver ( FDS 199 or FDS 299 ). As soon as the stove cools down or a window is opened, both receivers will activate the exhaust system.
👉 Please provide the serial number of your existing receiver when ordering.


⚠️ Operating instructions

The FTW 519 is only permitted for use with a single furnace . It is not safe enough to use multiple furnaces.
