The 2 meter long sensor cable (extendable on request), reacts sensitively to single drops of water along its entire length. The mechanically strong cable, resistant to corrosion and abrasion, consists of two sensor wires embedded in a fluoropolymer carrier rod. Due to the robust cable construction with conductive polymer technology and fluoropolymer construction detection, no metal is exposed. For cleaning, you can wipe it with a clean damp cloth.
For connection to the Schabus water detectors is suitable only a LiYY control line with 2x 0.14mm², which can be ordered separately.

The SHT 241 socket water detector functions as a purely acoustic detector. If a certain water level is detected with the mini float switch, a loud acoustic alarm sounds and the LED flashes red. After the water drops below the specified level, the device automatically goes silent and the LED turns green again.

Water detector SHT 5001

The SHT 5001 water detector for top-hat rail mounting in the fuse box or small distribution board has 2 independent detection lines, which are designed identically with the option of connecting sensors or mini float switches to their own inputs in each case, activating the alarm memory via wire jumper or switching a potential-free changeover relay when "water" is detected. Test, reset, internal alarm beeper, or the connection of external alarm indicators with 12 volts to 30 mA, on the other hand, are carried out together for both detection lines. The cable lengths can be extended for sensors up to 100 meters, for mini-float switches up to 300 meters per signal line, provided that only thin and unshielded 2x0.14mm² LiYY cables are used, which are not laid parallel to lines of the mains AC voltage.

The SHT 5002 water detector for top-hat rail mounting in the fuse box or small distribution board is designed as a level controller and has 2 different detection lines. Detection line 1 is the actual level controller, which receives the functions "Fill" or "Drain" by means of a wire jumper and switches its potential-free 5 A changeover relay depending on a lower and an upper level, each of which is defined by a mini float switch. Detection line 2 works like a simple water detector and is called "overflow detector" here, i.e. as soon as water is detected by a sensor or mini-float switch, the second relay of the SHT 5002 switches over.

The standard SHT 5006 water sensor with 2 nickel-plated brass contacts and 6 meters of cable is overmolded with a soft, water-repellent plastic and has a gap between the contacts to prevent any biofilms that may form from triggering false alarms. The SHT 5006 sensor for connection to all Schabus water detectors is only suitable for regularly dry environments, ideal for detecting creeping moisture on floors and surfaces, but rather unsuitable for detecting water levels in shafts, tanks and other containers with regularly damp environments.

The water sensor SHT 5008 with three contacts is suitable for floor mounting on hard floors such as screed, concrete, but also plastic (GRP) or tarred floors.
