The plastic suspended float switch is reliable, maintenance- and wear-free and easy to install. The switching contact closes from approx. 4 cm level height and activates the input of the water detector. By turning the float body around, the reverse switching function is also obtained.
The suspended float switch has an attached weight so that the float switch always hangs vertically in flow-free media. The cable is held securely by a PG gland, can be positioned steplessly and can thus be suspended from above in sumps, tanks or barrels. No further assembly work, e.g. with angles and rods, is required.

LIYY cables are only temporarily waterproof and, according to the manufacturer, flame-retardant, low-adhesion, self-extinguishing and largely resistant to oils, greases, coolants and lubricants.

 

WARNING

Errors in the electrical connection of magnetic float switches can destroy the reed contacts. This can cause the system to malfunction, resulting in personal injury or material damage!
No direct operation on circuits with inductive loads
No direct operation on circuits with a capacitive load, e.g. PLC, DCS or cable lengths > 50 m
Do not exceed the permissible switching capacity

Connection with inductive load:
With inductive loads, the magnetic float switches must be protected by wiring with an RC element or a free-wheeling diode.
