Dirt trap made of stainless steel mesh with plastic cover and V2A mounting bracket and PG screw connection for mounting all SCHABUS mini float switches and SCHABUS water sensors. For the special application of mini float switches and sensors in outdoor areas (flooded areas, pond systems, rain cisterns, etc.), in case of high dirt ingress due to floating branches and grasses that could block the mechanism of the float.
Also as protection against small animals such as frogs, snails or mice that could activate the float or trigger sensors. In the lower area, under the float, there is enough space to reliably keep sediment washed in away from the mechanism. There are 2 small holes in the cover that prevent the formation of air bubbles and thus prevent the float switch from floating up when mounted suspended without an angle.

Hint:
The filter basket is not suitable for use in pool water. Chlorine and salt water can corrode the stainless steel surface and lead to corrosion.
