In this way, an exhaust air system can only be operated with a tilted or open window if it is ensured that sufficient fresh air flows into the room and thus no negative pressure is created that could draw dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide from a combustion site. Depending on the connection option (e.g. Miele PUR 98), the light of the bonnet can also be switched on independently of the window position.

Additional magnetic switch for KDS 110/116/210 and KDT 210
The additional magnetic switch for a second (or more) window is equipped with 2 screw terminals and is mounted between the control unit and the original magnetic switch. The connection is made with a 2-wire LiYY control cable. The OR function is achieved, only one of the two windows must be open for an exhaust air control KDS / KDT to release the fan motor or an air conditioning control KKS to switch off the air conditioning.

This package without DIBt approval includes a classic cable exhaust air control set KDS 210 consisting of a window solenoid switch with intermediate plug control unit and an exhaust gas temperature monitor ATW 519 with integrated cable breakage protection for a free piece of stove pipe that is accessible at any time, with all components already pre-assembled. Due to the additional temperature switch, the exhaust air system can be operated independently of the window position as long as the furnace is cold; opening the window is only necessary when the furnace is in operation.
Hint: Involve your chimney sweep in your planning before installation so that nothing stands in the way of acceptance afterwards. There are significant regional differences over which Elektrotechnik Schabus has no influence.

The KGS 116 cable gas heater control unit interrogates the potential-free normally open contact of a gas heater and converts the change of state of the gas heater into a changeover of the potential-free changeover relay. With this system, e.g. a bathroom fan can be switched off when the gas heater is ignited.
