The KZS 200 cable supply air control automatically opens a supply air damper when an exhaust air system is in operation. The system recognizes from the absorbed power of the fume hood whether only the light of the fume hood or the exhaust air system with its motor is switched on. If only the light is switched on, the supply air flap remains closed. The cable supply air control KZS 200 is simply plugged between the socket and the mains plug of the cooker hood and the supply air flap is connected to the output cable of the device. The mains plug fuse prevents the appliance plug from being reconnected. An adjustment dial on the back of the device is used to define the threshold value continuously from 5 W to 250 W at which the flap is to open. This set limit thus establishes the difference in power between "light only" or "fan also", with the LED helping you to set it correctly. The supply air dampers available at SCHABUS can both be controlled by the KZS 200, you can also control most other supply air dampers with our KZS 200. The lowest adjustable threshold of 5 watts corresponds to the energy-saving LED lights.
