for regular maintenance by zero point adjustment
Every sensor is subject to a natural drift, the zero point (410 ppm) shifts upwards, the sensors become more sensitive, go into alarm more often and earlier (intrinsically safe).
The spread of the specified alarm thresholds is maintained.
In this context, regular means about half-yearly to yearly maintenance, in case of increased demands or if required up to once a month - depending on the other ambient conditions. The less frequently the sensor is exposed to fresh air or air with a low concentration, e.g. below 500 ppm CO2, the more frequently a zero point adjustment will be required.
This recalibration may only be performed by authorized and qualified personnel. Observe the recognized safety rules and disconnect the GX-D500 P from the power supply if possible.
