CO sensor, measuring cell, evaluation and software were subjected to an elaborate full test according to DIN EN 50291 at TÜV Süd, safety and stability were certified for the system. The development of the GX-C300S professional CO warning system was the logical consequence of this. The Profi CO warning system GX-C300S (S for ext. sensor) has a pre-mounted external gas sensor in addition to the internal CO sensor. Thus, in addition to the life-threatening CO, any escaping town gas or natural gas is also detected and alerted. A relay switches in case of CO or gas alarm, another relay in case of detected technical malfunctions. This system is therefore predestined to monitor the heating and utility room in houses, where the gas fittings are also located, and to switch them off in the event of danger, as well as to inform the building control system or home automation system.
Note: For the sake of simplicity, the designation "CH4" on the device and display is representative of all gases, coolants and refrigerants that can be detected by the ext. sensor.
