GX-D11

The GX-D11 CO2 alarm is a CO2 warning device for mobile use and is simply plugged into a free socket. The first result is displayed after just 3 minutes of operation and completion of the initialization phase. The concentration thresholds of 1000 ppm for yellow and 2000 ppm for red are based on the recommendations of the RKI for use in schools. The GX-D11 CO2 warning device is equipped with a genuine NDIR (infrared) sensor that cannot be fooled by air purification devices, as these cannot filter CO2 from the air. CO2 not only correlates with the general germ load indoors, but also displaces oxygen in higher concentrations and therefore puts a strain on the human immune system. And this happens even before people become tired due to a drop in concentration and performance and feel that it is time to get some fresh air. The GX-D11 reminds you visually and acoustically to ventilate regularly without the room cooling down too much, as extensive internal and external tests have shown that the so-called rules of thumb without CO2 monitoring are too strict.

Important information about your socket outlet light

Do you use your CO2 traffic light stationary?
Please do not unplug your traffic light overnight, it needs the nightly rest phases to be able to calibrate itself properly, as well as regular and daily ventilation in the rooms.
During the operating time, please always leave the traffic light in operation, during your vacation trip, which lasts longer than a week, the traffic light can be unplugged. This is the only way to ensure that the CO2 traffic light always reminds you to ventilate at the correct concentrations.
30 minutes of fresh air at a time every week is ideal!

Do you use your mobile CO2 traffic light?
The traffic light remembers the lowest CO2 concentration of the last 7 days and resets itself to its theoretical zero point again and again in this rhythm. You should therefore give your CO2 traffic light the opportunity to do this two to four times a year by leaving it in a socket for 8 days at a time.
For teachers, for example, who take the traffic light from one classroom to the next every day, the vacations are an excellent time to operate the traffic light in the living room at home for a week or longer and keep it in the freshest possible air for at least 30 minutes at a time during this time.
This function is called "auto-calibration" and we have deliberately optimized it for a weekly rhythm. The average of the weeks is more similar than the average of individual days.

This is why it is so important to supply the traffic lights with electricity for at least a whole week 2-4 times a year.
