The water sensor SHT 5008 with three contacts is suitable for floor mounting on hard floors such as screed, concrete, but also plastic (GRP) or tarred floors. With its 3-wire cable, the redundancy function or the differentiation between standing and rising water can be realized with the water detector SHT 5001, but by combining two cables, the SHT 5008 can also be easily operated on any other Schabus water detector as a floor sensor in a more stable design.

Accessories for water detector
The standard SHT 5006 water sensor with 2 nickel-plated brass contacts and 6 meters of cable is overmolded with a soft, water-repellent plastic and has a gap between the contacts to prevent any biofilms that may form from triggering false alarms. The SHT 5006 sensor for connection to all Schabus water detectors is only suitable for regularly dry environments, ideal for detecting creeping moisture on floors and surfaces, but rather unsuitable for detecting water levels in shafts, tanks and other containers with regularly damp environments.

Cable exhaust control KDS 110 DIBt
Item no.: 300740The magnetic switch of the KDS 110 set with DIBt approval monitors the window position and transmits the information via a thin cable to a built-in control unit with a potential-free 5 A change-over relay. In this way, an exhaust air system can only be operated with a tilted or open window if it is ensured that sufficient fresh air flows into the room and thus no negative pressure is created that could draw dangerous and toxic carbon monoxide from a combustion site. Depending on the connection option (e.g. Miele PUR 98), the light of the bonnet can also be switched on independently of the window position.
Comfort package FDS 100 / FTX 519
Item no.: 300539This comfort package without DIBt approval includes a classic radio exhaust control set FDS 100 consisting of a window switch with built-in receiver and a radio exhaust temperature monitor FTX with remote transmitter for shorter or covered, but always freely accessible stovepipes. This means that for very rarely used stoves, a window does not always have to be opened every time the exhaust air system is used.
Hint: Involve your chimney sweep in your planning before installation so that nothing stands in the way of acceptance afterwards. There are significant regional differences, on which Elektrotechnik Schabus has no influence.
Flue gas temperature monitor ATW 519 - KDS 110/116
Item no.: 201753The Cetrotec flue gas temperature monitor type 519 with 40°C switching point and 10-k resistor is approved for use in heat generating plants and is mounted with a flange on a free piece of furnace pipe with a minimum diameter of 120 mm. Its normally open contact is only intended for control tasks and has been bridged by us with a 10 kOhm cable breakage protection resistor, therefore this version of the temperature monitor is only suitable as an optional accessory for our KDS cable exhaust air controls in order to enable an exhaust air system when the stove is cold without having to open a window each time as well, provided that the approval of the master chimney sweep is available, since an exhaust air control in combination with an exhaust gas temperature monitor does not have DIBt approval.

The optionally available relay plug-in card for the SHT 5000 assigns each of the 4 detection lines, in addition to the main relay, its own small changeover relay, which is polled by the WWD 200 smart home adapter. In contrast to the main relay, the 4 small relays of the relay plug-in card are not energized in monitoring mode and only pick up when the assigned detection line is activated by the water. The relay plug-in card has no influence on the various setting options of the SHT 5000 and can be retrofitted at any time.

The FGS 170 radio gas heater control system consists of a 230-volt transmitter, which interrogates the potential-free contact of a gas heater, and a 230-volt receiver, which converts the change of state of the gas heater into a changeover of the potential-free changeover relay. With this system, a bathroom fan, for example, can be switched off when the gas heater is ignited.

This comfort package without DIBt approval includes a classic FDS 100 exhaust air control set consisting of a radio window switch with intermediate plug receiver and an FTW exhaust gas temperature monitor with integrated transmitter for long, completely free (not jacketed) stove pipes at a minimum height of 80 cm (measured from the top of the stove). This means that for very infrequently used furnaces, a window does not always have to be opened every time the exhaust air system is used.

GAS ALARM GX-B2pro

The socket gas warning device with external sensor for town gas and natural gas is plugged into a socket and the sensor is set to an upper (natural gas / methane) or lower (liquid gas / butane, propane) position depending on the gas. The warning device is ready for operation after 3 minutes of preheating time and warns already far below dangerous gas concentrations with a loud alarm tone and red flashing LED.

GAS ALARM GX-D33

The GX-D33 with internal sensor for carbon dioxide from pressurized CO2 bottles is plugged into one of the lower sockets located near the CO2 bottles to be monitored, is ready for operation after 3 minutes of preheating time and warns when 3.0%vol. CO2 is reached with a loud alarm sound and red flashing LED. It is the easiest to use CO2 detector for water bubblers with large CO2 bottles in small rooms.
