💧 Mini folding float switch – compact, precise & durable

SCHABUS's mini-folding float switches ("broken finger" type) are handcrafted and individually tested – for maximum quality and reliability in level monitoring.

They are maintenance-free , wear -free and are ideal for installation on the side of containers or tanks .


⚙️ Switching function selectable by rotation

The desired switching mode can be determined by simply turning the float 180° :

  • Normally open function (contact closes when the level rises)

  • Opener function (contact opens when the level rises)

Mounting is done on the side using a sealing sleeve . A firmly attached lock nut ensures a secure fit.


🔌 High-quality workmanship & molded technology

The 2.5 m long connection cable is soldered with a durable Meder reed contact and completely encapsulated with Wepuran® – for absolute water resistance and a long service life.

📏 Special cable lengths are available on request!

Cabling via thin, unshielded LiYY control cable (2 × 0.14 mm²) – max. 50 m cable length per scanner.

📏 Cable extension up to 50 meters possible
The factory-installed cable length can be extended up to 50 m . The recommended cross-section is 2 × 0.14 mm² .


⚠️ Notes on cable routing and area of ​​application
The LIYY cables used are only temporarily waterproof and, according to the manufacturer , are flame-retardant, low-adhesion, and self-extinguishing . They are resistant to oils, greases, coolants, and lubricants , but are not suitable for permanent water contact.

⚠️ Safety note: The LIYY cables must never be laid parallel to 230 V mains cables to avoid interference and safety risks.
