This professional carbon monoxide alarm device with an internal CO sensor is equipped with an additional external city and natural gas sensor, making the entire system the perfect warning device for boiler rooms where a gas heater or boiler is installed. This way, in addition to life-threatening CO, any leaking city and natural gas are also detected and alerted. The CO sensor, measuring cell, evaluation unit, and software have undergone a comprehensive full test according to DIN EN 50291 by TÜV Süd, and the system's safety and stability have been certified. One relay activates in the event of a CO or gas alarm, and another relay activates when technical faults are detected. The alarm relay, activated in monitoring mode, de-energizes when gas (methane, butane, propane, ethanol) is detected or when the CO concentration specified by the standard is exceeded. In the event of an emergency, it can shut off the heating system with its solenoid shut-off valve to reliably prevent further ingress of toxic or flammable gases. This system is therefore ideal for monitoring the heating and utility rooms in houses, where the gas fittings are also located, and for switching them off in the event of danger, as well as for informing building management systems or home automation. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Please observe the five safety rules! The GX-C300S gas alarm may only be installed on a wall in dry, indoor spaces. Choose a mounting position that allows the display to be easily read while standing. This ensures proper functioning of the warning device. Note: For the sake of simplicity, the designation "CH4" on the device and display represents all gases, coolants, and refrigerants detectable by the external sensor. WEEE NO.: DE91394868
