The GD-04A backup battery is an ideal complement to the GD-04K and ensures a power supply when the module is disconnected from the mains. The battery is housed within a larger housing, which is mounted on the GD-04K module. It provides emergency power for 12-24 hours in the event of a power outage, depending on the GSM signal strength (the stronger the signal, the lower the device's power consumption) – and requires approximately 72 hours to fully charge.
The backup battery does not supply any external devices but only the GSM module.
