The universal gas warning device for fixed DIN rail installation in a small distribution board for mobile use is suitable for various gases depending on the sensor. It provides the operating voltage required for the sensor, regulates the heating current required for some sensors, evaluates the sensor voltage returned by the sensor, and switches the two potential-free changeover relays at a sensor voltage of 2.5 volts, thus switching the device to alarm mode. The GX-HS represents the simplest variant for evaluating external sensors and distinguishes only the three states: cable break, monitoring mode, and alarm. Sensors are available for town gas and natural gas, coolants and refrigerants (HFCs), and carbon dioxide in two measuring ranges.

All gas-powered devices have the potential to release dangerous gas. As soon as the GXHS gas detector detects such gases, it automatically interrupts the power supply and, optionally, the gas supply through the gas line. Depending on the type of sensor connected, the device detects town gas and natural gas (methane/butane), coolants and refrigerants, or carbon dioxide used in the catering industry or from the air we breathe. The GX-HS device features an output for an external buzzer. The input also offers two setting options (via wire jumper). The triggered alarm can be saved and acknowledged by pressing a button. The alarm can also be automatically cleared when the gas concentration falls below a certain threshold. Gas sensor connection: Only one gas sensor can be connected to the GX-HS gas detector at a time. https://youtu.be/oTxMdmamv_M Areas of application
  • Detection of town, natural and liquefied gases (GX-SE)
  • Indoor air (GX-CO2-25 and GX-DS)
  • Gastronomy CO2 monitoring (GX-CO2-30)
  • Air conditioning systems, fluorinated refrigerants (GX-CFC)
  • Only one sensor can be connected to a GX-HS 24V
