CO₂ warning device GX-D2 – Optimal air monitoring with a flexibly placeable sensor
The GX-D2 CO₂ alarm device offers an effective solution for monitoring indoor air quality in high-traffic areas—ideal for classrooms, meeting rooms, open-plan offices, or production areas. Unlike the GX-D1 model, the GX-D2 features an external CO₂ sensor that can be placed independently of the device. This allows the measuring point to be more precisely tailored to the actual occupancy zones—for even more precise measurement of indoor air quality.
The device itself is conveniently plugged into a power outlet, and the sensor can be flexibly mounted near the floor or higher on the wall—depending on how sensitive the CO₂ monitoring should be. After a short preheating time of around three minutes, the GX-D2 begins continuously measuring the CO₂ concentration in the room air.
If the threshold of 2500 ppm – half the legal maximum allowable concentration – is exceeded, the GX-D2 emits a clearly audible alarm signal and simultaneously warns with a red flashing LED. At levels as low as 1400 ppm, air quality is considered severely impaired, which can negatively impact concentration, performance, and general well-being.
With the GX-D2, timely ventilation becomes child's play – without any installation effort. It thus makes an important contribution to a healthy indoor climate that promotes both well-being and productivity – wherever large numbers of people gather.
