🛠️ Robust sensor with brass plate electrodes
The SHT 5009 is equipped with three brass plate electrodes encapsulated in a robust Wepuran plastic housing . It is ideal for installation on soft floors such as parquet, laminate, carpet (low-pile and velour carpets), or linoleum. An aluminum-reinforced drill hole facilitates secure mounting.


🔌 Ready to connect to Schabus water detectors
With its 2-wire cable, the sensor is compatible and ready for use with the water detectors SHT 5000 and SHT 5001.


🌊 How it works – Alarm when moisture is present
As soon as water or another conductive liquid connects the electrodes, the connected water detector immediately triggers an alarm.


📏 Cable length can be flexibly extended
The cable length can be extended up to 50 meters . The cross-section should be 2 × 0.14 mm² .


⚠️ Notes on cable routing
The LIYY cables used are only temporarily waterproof and, according to the manufacturer , are flame-retardant, self-extinguishing and resistant to oils, greases, coolants and lubricants.

⚠️ Safety note: The LIYY cables must never be laid parallel to 230 V mains cables to avoid interference and safety risks.
