The mains-powered SHT 5000 is a versatile professional water detector for simultaneous monitoring of up to four separate detection zones—for example, in different rooms or zones of a building. Multiple sensors or float switches can be operated in parallel per input, as long as the total length of the control cable does not exceed 50 m per detection line. The control cables can be extended, but must be thin! A maximum of 2 x 0.14 mm² (LiYY) with a maximum of 50 meters per detection line. When connected in parallel, the individual lengths are added together, e.g., a maximum of 20 m + 30 m sensor cable.
Ideal for basements, utility rooms, pump sumps, cisterns, flat roofs, and many other applications. Whether water ingress, dry running, or level monitoring: With audible and visual alarms, a switching output, and expansion options, the SHT 5000 is versatile – even for smart home solutions via the WWD 200 adapter (item 2002 00).
For non-conductive liquids, you can install our SCHABUS mini float switches in plastic or V2A or V4A stainless steel. Again, please consider the total length of the control cable.
