The relay plug-in card is an optional accessory for the water detector SHT 5000 (item no. 300744 / 300790) and extends its functionality by four additional switching channels .
Each of the four signaling lines of the SHT 5000 receives its own small changeover relay via the relay plug-in card – in addition to the existing main relay. This allows external devices to be controlled independently , for example:
Signaling devices (lamps, buzzer, horn)
Power contactors for automatic pump controls
external alarms or reporting systems
Unlike the main relay, the four small relays on the plug-in card are normally de-energized . They only energize when the assigned detection line is activated —i.e., when water is detected. This allows for clear, error-free signal chains .
The relay plug-in card is optimally matched to the WWD 200 Smart Home Adapter (item no. 200200). This allows you to receive a push notification on your phone when the soil moisture level is too high, for example—and also inform your neighbors or automatically turn off devices if the water level continues to rise.
The plug-in card does not affect the extensive setting options of the SHT 5000 – it can be easily retrofitted at any time without having to make any changes to the system.
