The universally applicable magnetic switch with break function and 2-wire cable can be used in dry indoor spaces and also outdoors, i.e. also on the outside of doors and windows, and with its enclosed 4 spacer plates for height adjustment, it is ideal for attachment to door and window frames as well as door and window sashes.

A control cable (LIYY 2×0.14mm²) is connected to the terminal and can be inserted from either side. This allows for series connection of multiple contact switches.

The 10-watt reed switch, which can handle up to 500 mA at up to 20 volts, opens the contact when the magnet is close to the switch. Without a cable break protection device, this switch cannot be used as an extension for Schabus exhaust air and air conditioning controls.

The housings are delivered in the basic color telegrey-4 and on request also in other RAL colors.
