The SHT 228 plug-in water detector functions as a pump controller. When a certain water level is detected with the mini float switch (from 4 cm water level), the plug-in water detector activates the connected pump. Once the water level drops below the specified level, the pump continues to run for an adjustable run-on time of 0 to 100 seconds, then shuts off.

The SHT 228 water detector is a plug-in pump control that activates a connected water pump when a certain water level is reached and then deactivates it again after the water level, and thus the float, has dropped, and a preset time has elapsed. The pump's run-on time is set from 0 to 100 seconds using a continuously variable dial. A visual warning signals the water level change.

<div>The robust float switch is particularly suitable for dirty water, humid environments, or other liquids (e.g., heating oil, diesel, vegetable oil, lubricating oil, etc.). In addition, a float switch, unlike a sensor, offers greater reliability in the pump's shutdown behavior.</div>
<div>The float's switching contact closes at a water level of approximately 4 cm and activates the water detector input.</div>
<div>By turning the float body, you also get the reverse switching function.</div>
