The GX-SE gas sensor is an external urban and natural gas sensor and is used as an accessory for the GX-A1 and GX-HS gas detectors in our product range. The GX-SE detects natural gas (methane) from leaks in the building's plumbing or bottled gas (butane, propane) from leaking fixtures and is connected to the cable via an RJ connector.
The sensor operates in dry rooms. The sensor must not be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.

<div>Frequent and high gas concentrations reduce the sensor's sensitivity over time and reduce its service life.</div>

<div>The sensor's connecting cable can be extended.</div>
<div>The following minimum cross-sections result depending on the length of the cable:</div>

<li>Cable cross section 3 x 0.75 mm²</li>
<li>maximum length 10 m cable cross section 3 x 1.5 mm²</li>
<li>maximum length 20 m</li>
