The GAS ALARM GX-A1-CO is a combination of a control unit for carbon monoxide and an external, TÜV-tested CO sensor (according to DIN-EN 50291 (CO in living spaces)
The particular advantage of the GX-A1+CO lies in the ability to monitor a room for harmful CO concentrations while mounting the control unit outside. This allows the danger level to be accurately assessed before entering the room. The LCD display on the control unit continuously informs about the operating status. The alarm signal is provided visually and audibly, both on the control unit and on the sensor itself.
The carbon monoxide concentration is evaluated and displayed with ppm precision. In the event of an alarm, a potential-free 230-volt changeover relay switches on, for example to activate forced ventilation in the pellet bunker in the event of an alarm and thus quickly reduce the high CO concentrations to a tolerable level - or to lock the gas supply line with a magnetic shut-off valve so that no further gas can escape from a possible leak in the gas line or in the gas boiler.
Another relay for up to 60 volts DC voltage informs the home automation or building management system if necessary in the event of technical faults detected by the warning device itself, such as a cable break or sensor failure.
