Scope of delivery
This gas detector with external sensor is an indispensable safety device in almost every household!
The socket-mounted gas detector with an external sensor for town gas and natural gas is plugged into a socket, and the sensor is positioned either at the top (natural gas/methane) or the bottom (liquefied petroleum gas/butane, propane) depending on the gas. The external sensor is connected to the cable via an RJ connector. If the gas detector is to be installed outside the monitoring space, the sensor cable can be routed through a 13 mm diameter wall hole.
The warning device is ready for use after 3 minutes and warns even at gas concentrations well below dangerous levels with an alarm tone and a red flashing LED .
In the event of an alarm, the device connected to the GX-B3 (e.g., a gas boiler) is also reliably shut down . Only after thorough ventilation and a reset by briefly unplugging and replugging the device into the power outlet will the connected device be enabled again.
