The GX-B2pro gas detector with external sensor offers maximum flexibility and safety wherever natural or liquefied gas is used. The device simply plugs into a power outlet, while the sensor, thanks to its cable, can be positioned precisely where the danger is greatest – without any complex installation or structural work.
Ideal for living rooms with gas boilers, kitchens with gas stoves, or storage rooms with gas cylinders, the GX-B2pro reliably detects even low concentrations of methane, propane, or butane and alerts you with a prominent visual and loud audible alarm – long before a dangerous situation arises. The sensor's positioning depends on the gas used: Natural gas, i.e. methane, rises and is therefore detected about 30 centimeters below the ceiling, while liquefied gases such as propane and butane are heavier than air and must be detected near the floor. The warning device is ready for use after a 3-minute preheating time and warns even at gas concentrations well below dangerous levels with a loud alarm tone and a flashing red LED.
The external sensor makes the GX-B2pro particularly flexible, making it the ideal choice for homes, workshops, storage rooms, or camping areas with specific sensor placement requirements. Standard lighter gas is sufficient for regular functional testing – simple, safe, and reliable.
