In the hectic office routine, we often notice it too late – many different factors contribute to the proverbial "stuffy air." Our oxygen supply continuously decreases, and we become weak and tired. Fresh air means more oxygen – thus greater well-being and increased performance.
The "office" CO2 traffic light helps you ventilate your home in a timely manner, for a sufficient amount of time, and thus ventilate effectively and energy-efficiently. This way, you'll feel better faster – and, logically, healthier, too.
The "office" CO2 traffic light continuously measures the CO2 concentration in the room using its internal NDIR infrared sensor. Its yellow LED, starting at 1200 ppm, reminds you to thoroughly ventilate the room. At the highest warning level, the red LED, starting at 2500 ppm, also emits an audible warning. Fresh air means more oxygen – thus greater well-being and increased productivity. 1400 ppm of CO2 in the room air is already considered "very poor air" according to EU standards; the maximum workplace concentration (MAK) in Germany is 5000 ppm. The "office" CO2 traffic light also helps save energy through proper, moderate ventilation – not too little, but also not too much, or for too long. At night, the LEDs dim automatically, keeping the traffic light's overall energy consumption extremely low.
Installation and commissioning is extremely simple:
The CO2 traffic light is mounted to a wall with the included wall mount at a height of approximately 1.8 to 2 meters, as far away from the nearest window or door as possible. The power adapter, with its 2.3-meter-long cable, is plugged into a power outlet. After a 3-minute warm-up phase, the traffic light immediately enters monitoring mode and displays the first reading. Should the traffic light ever sound its alarm, it can be immediately muted using an invisible touch switch (touch panel). During normal operation, this touch panel can also be used to test the LEDs and the alarm tone.
