The "medical" CO2 traffic light is the ideal solution for rooms with particularly high air quality requirements. With its early warning threshold and clear signaling, it actively contributes to a healthy indoor climate – thus protecting both the well-being and health of those present. CO2 traffic light "medical" – For the highest safety requirements in sensitive indoor spaces The CO2 traffic light "medical" is our most sensitive variant and was specially developed for use in sensitive areas where people with special health requirements are frequently present - for example, in doctor's offices, waiting rooms, retirement homes or therapy facilities. Thanks to its high-precision NDIR sensor, the traffic light continuously monitors the CO2 concentration in the room air and ensures healthy ambient air with its clear, visual and acoustic warning function. At just 800 ppm, the traffic light turns yellow, at 1200 ppm it turns red, and at 2000 ppm the red LED flashes with an additional alarm tone – an unmistakable signal that urgent ventilation is needed. Greater well-being and safety through fresh air Poor air quality can cause fatigue, concentration problems, and even health problems such as headaches or a weakened immune system. Optimal indoor air quality is particularly essential in medical facilities or nursing homes, where there is an increased risk of infection. The "medical" CO2 traffic light helps ensure timely and targeted ventilation to keep air quality at a healthy level at all times. In addition to improving the indoor climate, the traffic light system also contributes to energy savings by preventing excessive ventilation. This not only optimizes air quality but also reduces heating and air conditioning costs. Easy installation & energy-saving operation Installation is incredibly simple: The "medical" CO2 traffic light is mounted using the included wall mount at a height of approximately 1.8 to 2 meters, as far away as possible from windows and doors. Then, the power supply unit with its 2.3-meter-long cable is plugged into a power outlet. After a short warm-up phase of three minutes, the device is ready for use. Particularly energy-saving: The traffic light features a light sensor that automatically reduces the LED brightness after 10 minutes of total darkness, further reducing power consumption. Important information on using all CO2 traffic lights To ensure accurate measurements, the CO2 traffic light should remain permanently connected to the power grid. During the nightly rest periods, it automatically recalibrates itself and stores the lowest CO2 concentration of the last seven days, regularly adjusting to its theoretical zero point. This automatic calibration ensures reliable long-term measurements. The device can only be temporarily unplugged during extended operational interruptions of more than seven days. Available colors: green, white, gray or on request in your individual RAL color.
