The innovative sensor cable is sensitive to even the smallest drops of water along its entire length, detecting even the smallest amounts of liquid. The mechanically strong cable, resistant to corrosion and abrasion, consists of two sensor wires embedded in a fluoropolymer carrier rod. Thanks to the robust cable construction with conductive polymer technology and fluoropolymer construction detection, no metal is exposed. To clean, you can simply wipe it with a clean, damp cloth. The sensor cable can be extended up to a maximum of 1500 meters if necessary.
In the event of an alarm (water ingress), an audible and visual warning is triggered, and the connected appliance (e.g., washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) is immediately stopped. The switchable socket can also be used to control a solenoid shutoff valve (closed when de-energized), which shuts off the water supply in the event of water ingress. Your plumbing specialist can provide the appropriate shutoff valve.
A 1 meter long LIYY cable is mounted from the adapter plug device to the sensor cable (black and white striped).
The LIYY cables are only temporarily waterproof and, according to the manufacturer, are flame-retardant, low-adhesion, self-extinguishing and largely resistant to oils, greases, coolants and lubricants.
If necessary, you can order a longer cable directly from us, and we will then manufacture the device according to your individual requirements.
