The Aquastop SHT 216 is your reliable guardian angel for household appliances. This intelligent electronic alarm and shutdown device detects even the smallest amounts of water and immediately disconnects the connected appliance from the power supply. This effectively prevents leaks or flooding – before expensive damage occurs.
In addition to the automatic device shutdown , there are both audible and visual warnings to keep you informed at all times. The switchable socket also controls a magnetic shut-off valve that closes when the power is off. This reliably shuts off the water supply in the event of a water leak – your specialist will install the appropriate valve for you.
Extending the sensor cable: Your water sensor is equipped with a 2.8 m cable as standard. If necessary, the sensor cable can be extended up to 50 m using a LIYY cable (max. 2 x 0.14 mm²). To do this, the existing cable must be cut and reconnected with terminals. Upon request, we can deliver the device ex works with your desired length – simply contact us .
Non-conductive liquids: For other liquids such as heating oil, diesel, vegetable oil or lubricants, the SHT 226 (item no. 300228) with mini float switch is the right solution.
