The CO ALARM GX-C330 is a carbon monoxide warning device for monitoring indoor areas with open combustion and is equipped with an integrated electro-chemical sensor. An LCD display constantly informs about the operating status as well as the exact measured ppm number of the CO concentration in the ambient air.
The alarm is acoustical and optical, at the same time a potential-free relay is switched to warn e.g. with a signal horn / flashing light also in other rooms or to initiate forced ventilation measures. 
A further relay switches in the event of faults that are detected by the warning device itself. The CO sensor, measuring cell, evaluation and software were subjected to an extensive full test in accordance with DIN EN 50291 at TÜV Süd, and the system was certified as safe and stable.
The alarm threshold programming has been done in such a way that the device immediately alarms as soon as 30 ppm CO is detected in the ambient air. This makes the CO detector ideal for use in areas where a CO warning device is mandatory for occupational health and safety, for example in shisha bars and smoking clubs, but this precise warning detector should also be used in laboratories where CO from compressed gas cylinders is used.
