The socket CO warning device with external sensor for carbon monoxide is plugged into a socket and the sensor is placed at average nose level. The warning device is ready for operation after 5 minutes and warns with the alarm thresholds specified in DIN standard 50291 with an alarm tone and a red flashing LED. In the event of an alarm, the device connected to the GX-C3pro, e.g. a gas heater, is also reliably switched off, whereby the device remains switched off until the user has ensured that his ventilation measures have had an effect and he resets the device by briefly unplugging it and plugging it back into the socket.

Display of the exact measured CO concentrations in ppm on an illuminated plain text display. In the event of an alarm and technical faults detected by the unit itself, a potential-free changeover relay switches in each case, e.g. to activate forced ventilation or to inform the BMS. The internal electrochemical sensor has a service life of 6 to 10 years, depending on the ambient conditions, and can easily be replaced by Elektrotechnik Schabus at the factory.
