Functional description: By using the FDS 216 radio exhaust air control, an exhaust air system (e.g. clothes dryer) can only be used when the window is open and the supply air required for it can flow into the room. A transmitter on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information by radio to the receiver. This is simply plugged in between the socket and the mains plug of the exhaust air system and only releases the power supply when the window is tilted or open. The mains plug fuse prevents accidental reconnection of the device plug of the exhaust air system, e.g. laundry dryer.
Second window (OR): At least one of the windows must be open for the exhaust air system to be switched on. For this purpose, the FDS 200 SET is equipped with an additional transmitter FDS 098 of the same coding for the second window.

* Obstacles, especially metals, sometimes reduce the range considerably compared to free space. The actual range always depends on the respective installation. If there are frequent dropouts during operation, despite a fresh battery, a poor radio link is often to blame. The distance between transmitter and receiver is hardly relevant. Keep the receiver at least 20 cm away from the nearest metal surface. Thick glass plates, ceramic hobs, kitchen cabinets with pots and pans, as well as walls and ceilings also shield the radio waves perfectly and interfere with reliable operation. For a good connection, align the receiver during installation so that its LED "looks" in the direction of the transmitter.
