In contrast, the unit runs continuously at full load without being able to achieve sustainable temperature control of the room if a window is open at the same time.
The air-conditioning controls from Elektrotechnik Schabus now provide a remedy: magnetic sensors monitor the status of window and door sashes and transmit it by radio or cable to a receiver in or on the air-conditioning unit. This receiver only releases the power supply to the air-conditioning unit when the windows and doors are closed.

Installation simple, works without problems. Suggestion for improvement: the permanently lit LED could shine through gaps unintentionally. A lighting duration of e.g. five seconds after status change would be sufficient in my opinion.

Basically satisfied, however, the battery change is poorly solved. My first solenoid switch is broken by this, because the contacts break off very easily.
